You know the feeling, 8 glasses of water per day seems impossible, but 8 glasses of wine can be done in one meal. But how much water should you be drinking? It differs from person to person, based on your weight. Here’s the simple formula:
- Check your weight in kilos.
- Divide the figure by 30.
The figure you get is the amount of water you should consume in litres eg. You weigh 60kg, divide by 30, you should drink 2 litres (duh).
- You’ll need to add an extra 350ml for every thirty minutes of exercise you perform as well.
Don’t forget you get 20-25% of your water intake from food, so you don’t have to get the whole lot in liquid form, phew.
