Paleo Hacks: The Herb You need in your Life

So here’s a little food waste hack I wanted to share.

I love cooking with herbs so I buy them often. “Why don’t you just grow them yourself? It’s sooo easy!” Because I have black thumbs to match my black heart Susan, now sod off. Anyway, I digress. What I wanted to tell you is this…when you get them home, shove them in a large airtight glass jar, NO WATER, and pop them in the fridge. I put them in leaves-side down, so I can just pull out what I need stem by stem. If the fruit and veg man has been a little waterspray-friendly, dry them of on paper towels before storing. They literally last for weeks! I’ve got  dill, coriander and parsley going strong in the fridge right now, so I’m ready to garnish the shit out of any dish!
