Paleo Hacks: Our Acai of Choice

With the opening of the cafe has come the launch of our signature LOADED AÇAI BOWLS, and so far they’ve been a hit!
Now I’ve done a fair bit of açai consumption in my time (it’s called research Susan, look it up!) I’ve had good ones and bad ones, rock hard frozen to sloppy mess ones, not enough toppings to over complicated, too much going on ones. One thing I did notice was how sweet they were becoming, which was taking them from a superfood with a unique nutritional profile to more of a sugar-laden treat.
We here at Smith St Paleo have chosen to go with the sugar-free pure açai from Amazonia for your bowls. It’s chock full of antioxidants, fibre and vitamin C and that tart fruity flavour that açai was originally known for.
We top our bowls with banana, berries, almond butter & granola (or rawnola if you will) which are both made in-house, making our bowls 100% Paleo & Vegan.
