THERE’S SOMETHING FISHY GOING ON….

If you love to make Asian food like I do, especially Thai or Vietnamese deliciousness, you need fish sauce in your pantry staples. While it whiffs a fair bit and doesn’t taste great on its own, it’s a must for creating those quintessential southeast asian flavours. Now while its readily available in all mainline supermarkets, if you check the ingredients, most contain E numbers, additives or colourings. Pretty unnecessary for fish sauce. Lucky for you, I’ve sourced a winning sauce (see what I did there?) I buy the Megachef brand fish sauce from Thai Smile Supermarket in Karama. It’s in a nice big bottle and only contains anchovies, water and salt.
